Different LVT Designs and Patterns
As you can see, there is a great selection of LVT manufacturers and brands available. But the choices don’t stop there. LVT flooring also comes in a fabulous range of designs and patterns you can utilise – each creating a vastly different look, feel, and space. Examples of the patterns and designs you can do are:
Grid – Also known as stack bond, an arrangement of vertical and horizontal points continuously aligned.
Stagger – A range of tiles alternating sides of a centerline. A brilliant choice if you are wanting to use more than 1 colour variation.
Offset – Known as the running bond – A layout that is offset by half the width of a tile.
Diagonal – An offset pattern where tiles are set at a 45-degree angle.
Herringbone – This pattern is known for representing ‘fish scales’. The Herringbone pattern is certainly a trending design in many homes; offering a lot of sophistication.

Weave – This pattern is more known as the ‘basketweave’, a design that offers several woven-effect variations.
Corridor – A design that is similar to the ‘Grid’ pattern, offset by the intervening rows.
Soilder – Soilder patterns can either be created by placing the rectangle tiles in a grid or stack. Alternatively, to offer the design more variations you can alternate the direction of the tiles.
Flemish bond – A fabulous design is you are wanting to use one or two tiles. This pattern is created by alternating square and rectangle tiles.
Random – This pattern is exactly how it sounds – Arrange the flooring tiles in no particular order to create an aimless design.
